Welcome to our new feature, where we’ll be looking back at our favourite style crushes in TV and Film. To start us off we’ve got the ultimate Hollywood style icon, Audrey Hepburn in one of our favourite old time movies Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Here Audrey Hepburn portrays the beautiful socialite Holly Golightly and struts some wonderful fashion along the way. Here are our favourite style moments from the film.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Audrey without the statement black dress. This iconic look is timeless and looks oh-so chic. Dress yours with tights and chunky jewellery to update the look. This bandage style bodycon dress is so versatile – dress it up or down for any party occasion.

Christina Aguilera and her new-found curves!

If you’ve seen pop princess Christina Aguilera in the press lately, you’ve probably noticed that something’s a little diferent. Yes, the gorgeous diva has a new, curvier fgure – and we think she looks amazing! Just last week, at the Golden Globe awards, she wore the most stunning fitted, fishtail dress – the way it hugged those curves… anyone would think she’d been dressing for curves all her life. But no, the fashion diva is just a really quick learner!
And she certainly seems to be loving her new-found curves, every time we’ve seen her (at the Golden Globes, on last year’s X-Factor and at the Premiere of new film Burlesque) she’s looked totally confdent and really comfortable with her new figure. So we thought, hey, let’s give her a Simply Be standing ovation, the way we do best – with a steal her style special for our new curvy girl!

This gorgeous girly definitely has our vote – and not just because she’s a great singer – oh no, this girl has style! Her latest outfit on X-Factor was undoubtedly her best. Sequin jacket, animal print top and those on-trend hareems… all worn with ballet pumps! We just love that Mary was confident enough to strut her stuff in flats.

Time for something a little bit different! As you know, we have a gorgeous plus size maternity range in sizes 14-32 – and over the last couple of months, we’ve been inundated with style questions from fashionable mums-to-be. So when we saw this snap of Natalie Cassidy, we just had to give you a Maternity Style Special!
The ex-Eastender and soon to be mother was positively glowing at the Karate Kid Premier! She took to the red carpet in a LBD that hugged her baby bump – and we couldn’t be happier to see the actress embracing her curves!

Oh we’ve always loved this long-skirted style… they’re flattering, sophisticated and every shade of chic… and the proof is in the celebrities it would seem, because everyone knows the S&TC girls are the most stylish girls in town!

So who better to steal style from than this plus-size pop princess (oh sorry, queen)! Now, we know you probably won’t have much call for a ball dress, especially in these warm Summer months, so we’ve gone with one of her cool-casual looks. But now she’s off to the West End to star in Calendar Girls, so it’s back in the style limelight for this leading lady!

Well, as you’ve probably seen, Gemma does red carpet glamour like the best of ‘em – but that’s not what we love about her. Oh no, anyone can look good in a little black dress, what we love about Gemma’s style is her cool, casualness.
