How was your October? We’ve had a great month here at Simply Be HQ and enjoyed some fab moments. So in case you missed any of it, let’s get you up to speed…

Our month started off in style as we went off to the Look magazine fashion show in London. Our beautiful duster coat took centre stage strutting down the catwalk – it’s a fab designer inspired piece which had all the ladies lusting over it! Read more here.

Gabi Fresh is totally rocking our cobalt blue blazer as she dressed up for Halloween as none other than Hilary Banks alongside her boyfriend dressed as, you guessed it Will Smith. We just love their fun outfits, what’s been your favourite Halloween costume?

Once again, we’ve had some fabulous pictures sent in of you wearing  Simply Be and we must admit we are loving your style ladies. Click here to view our latest modelled by you pictures. Here below are two fabulous ladies looking lovely in Simply Be…

The gorgeous Betty of Tales from Betty Bee Towers is wearing our snug and stylish metallic star jumper. The purple colours are so on trend at the moment, click on Betty’s blog to read her review!

Here the lovely Mhairi of Lilybobombs is working this beautiful mirror print dress. She teams hers with a belt to cinch in the waist. This stunning dress is an instant on-trend piece – perfect for an update to your wardrobe!

In the news it’s been reported that Marie Claire columnist calls out designer brand Marc Jacobs for not creating a plus size line as promised. Nicolette Mason writes a column called ‘Big girl in a skinny world’ and states in her video which you can watch here to the director of Marc Jacobs; ‘I would be your customer and you know it’.

Also in the news is Robyn Lawley (pictured below) – who if you remember, recently became the first plus size model ever for Ralph Lauren. She talks about her size and not conforming to Hollywood’s ‘thin obsession’. She says: ‘You are putting your life on the line. I would be so miserable if I got told to lose 30 or 40 pounds. I don’t think I could do it.”

This month we held a plus size chat over on twitter which was great. We had a lot of people join in the conversation about all things shopping, styling, plus size, must haves and more. It was great to find out what you guys are loving and hating at the moment, so thanks for everyone who took part! We even got the hashtag #plussizechat trending in the UK! :D

Keep your eyes peeled in November as we’ve got some fabulous prizes, competitions and offers – woohoo!

What’s been your highlight of October?xx
