Ooh, we’ve got so much to tell you! The glitz, the glamour, the fashion – and, of course, the gossip… oh yes, last week’s British Fashion Awards were as eventful as ever.
Winners on the night
It was Georgia Jagger that walked away with the much coveted Model award. She’s already the face of Hudson Jeans and you’ve probably seen her in the Rimmel ads. But this latest award seals the deal, singling her out as the one-to-watch on the British fashion scene.
Other winners on the night include Burberry (designer brand), Kate Moss (London 25), Christopher Baily (designer of the year) and Katie Hillier (accessory designer).
Red carpet fashion
As always, there were things we loved… and things we HATED! For example, we loved Claudia Schiffer’s graphic print dress. So simple, utterly sophisticated and just really cool. Twiggy looked great too, in a simple gold top with boyfriend jacket and leggings. And Myleen Klass? Well, the surname says it all. Her little black dress was just to die for!
But on the other side of the coin, there’s Pixie Geldof. We’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for her – she’s quirky, adventurous and always completely on-style… until now. Last night she threw caution to the wind and turned up at the awards in a black transparent dress. What was she wearing underneath? Well, knickers but very little else. Now we don’t mind that kind of thing on the beach, but it’s not really our cup of tea on the red carpet.

Models – they may be drop dead gorgeous, but they’re just as human as the rest of us. It’s true – and last night was the proof. You see, the absolutely stunning Karen Elson took a bit of a tumble. Actually, that’s a massive understatement. She fell from the stage into the orchestra pit 4 foot below. Ouch!
