There’s been so much talk of sunshine and airports over the last couple of weeks that we just can’t get ‘holidays’ out of our heads. So guess what we’re talking about today – you got it, your holiday wardrobe! Starting of course, with beachwear, because let’s face it, most of us are planning little foray to the seaside this year, even if it’s just to Sunny Devon!
The plus-size debate
Choosing a beach look is infinitely more difficult for us curvy girls than it is for those skinny minnie’s, so we thought we’d give you a quick run through of your options – you know, show you what you can wear, how you can cover up if you’re not totally comfortable with your curves and let you in on a secret the stars would probably like to keep to themselves. The plus size bikini
Do you show your belly, don’t you show your belly? It’s the age-old debate for us plus size women. The answer depends on you and your figure. We don’t want to get caught up in the whole ‘shape’ debate, but if you’re an ‘hourglass’, you’ll probably be more comfortable in a bikini than an ‘apple’. At the end of the day, it all comes down to confidence. And if you feel good in a bikini, there’s no reason you shouldn’t wear one.

Okay, so maybe we got a tad distracted by all the gorgeous Autumn/Winter trends strutting their way down the London Fashion Week catwalks. But now, we’re right back on track with one of the Spring’s biggest trends – peek-a-boo!
This look is all about showing a little skin, but just a little mind you. Slit sleeves, sheers layers, cut-out patterns, you name it, we’ve seen it on the catwalks… and in the Simply Be collection!
