This month we have the pleasure of introducing you all to the lovely Amy Simon of These Girls Turn Heads. For those of you who haven’t read her blog yet – Amy works in fashion PR, and writes about all things fashion with regular outfit posts. We adore her style and way of thinking!
Here’s Amy in our Simply Be Military Jacket.
How are you all? We’re already well into May but before we go any further we’d like to look back over the month of April and tell you all about our highlights!
We’re on our way to the hot (positive thinking) summer months and we can’t wait to make the most of it! To bring you up to speed with what’s been going on over the past month, here are our favourite moments of April, so as always if you missed out, stay tuned!
Now as summer is approaching, we’re ready and raring to go with our beach wear, and this lovely feature in the Huffington Post showcases these gorgeous ladies having fun and making the most of the sun. It has definitely inspired us to get out there and rock our beach bods – you go girls!
We love seeing these body confident bikini bodies! After all a swimsuit is for everyone right ladies?! If you’re off jet setting this summer, why not send in your favourite snaps on holiday in your Simply Be swimwear!
Who’s heard of fashion stylist and blogger Marcy Guevara? A plus size stylist she gives body confidence advice to women and shows that no matter what size you are, you can always wear on-trend stylish clothes, there’s no rules, just wear what makes you happy – a mentality we totally agree with!
Here’s a lovely clip we found from her YouTube channel, The Marcy Minute:
Earlier in April we announced our ‘Design a t-shirt competition’ winner. The winning design was created by Deborah Abbott and chosen by our Facebook fans. We’re so excited to see the final product and can’t wait to show you all, so keep your eyes peeled for this exclusive t-shirt available to buy online at Simply Be soon!
Here’s the winning tee – we love the on-trend skull print and floral details!
If you missed out on the Blogger’s Take 5 challenge check them out here wearing our Project D London Carnegie strappy dress. The five gorgeous bloggers (pictured L-R); Amy, Emma, Lauren, Wendy and Georgina took this dress and styled it up in their own way! We love what they did and how they all made this dress look so different and versatile. Why not take inspiration and try mixing up your outfits in different ways!
Look out for more Blogger Take 5 reviews coming soon. If you’re a blogger and would love to get involved and review a Simply Be item, please get in touch with us at: firstname.lastname@example.org and include a link to your blog – we’d love to hear from you.
Coming up soon…brand new Gemma Collins range in sizes 14-32! Watch this space xx

Over to Betty…
Spring has arrived, well technically it has, it still feels like winter in good old Blighty as we’ve yet to feel the warmth of the spring months, however we haven’t lost all hope and our floral dress & colourful skirts are ready and raring to go the moment the temperature rises (even just a little please!)
Hope you all had a lovely Easter, what did you get up to? We’re back in April with our fave moments from the past month, so if you missed out, listen up!
In March we celebrated a triple birthday, with three of our stores first birthday taking place! Teesside, Doncaster and Leicester all turned one so we had a party in store with plenty of games, competitions and discounts.
The classic french manicure is simple, elegant and gives off a fabulously brilliant polished look. This manicure normally consists of white tips with nude or pink nails. There are many ways to achieve this polished look and we’re here to show you how easy it is to do it at home without the use of acrylics or fake nails. All you need to get started is some good nail clippers, a nail buffer, cuticle pusher and nail varnish of course.
This 9-piece set includes nail clippers, tweezers and a nail file all in a glamorous sparkling case.
Even though it may not feel like spring has sprung just yet, here at the Simply Be office we’ve got that spring feeling and more importantly £100 worth of fabulous Joe Browns fashion to give away! After all Easter is just around the corner and we’d like to celebrate with a themed Pinterest competition.
Here’s what you need to know:
Are you ready for a spring time competition ladies? It may still be cold but it’s March already and Easter is upon us, so we’re definitely in need of a pick-me-up!
It couldn’t be easier to enter, simply watch this behind the scenes video of our very latest spring summer tv advert, answer our question below and you could WIN yourself a fabulous £50 treat to spend online at Simply Be – what better way to step into spring!
Featuring our three gorgeous Simply Be models Candice, Wendy and Justine we see just what’s goes on, off camera as they film the summer advert in freezing cold January. Watch the video carefully…
90s fashion is having a bit of a moment right now and we can’t help but be reminded of when it all looked edgy the first time around.
No one embraced the grungey look quite like on/off BFF’s Angela Chase and Rayanne Graff of My So Called Life.
Can you believe it’s 18 years since it last graced our screens? We followed them through their teenaged trials and tribulations, swooned over Jordan Catalano – and now we’re swooning over the fabulous fashion that’s found its way back into style. Awkward little 15 year old Angela Chase (Claire Danes) is all grown up and sophisticated in Homeland now of course, but we’ll always remember her like this:
